Lucky Dog offers Canine Good Citizen training classes at least four times a year. These training classes focus on teaching owners and pets how to work together to be responsible members of the community. The classes are usually 6 weeks long, held one hour once a week, and followed by a test. The test is administered by an AKC approved Canine Good Citizen evaluator, who has NOT been involved with the class at all.
Currently, we have been borrowing evaluators from other facilities for our tests, so a big thank you to Stevie Mathre of All Smart Pets Training of Fargo for coming down to evaluate. In 2009, Mary Holsen also became a
Canine Good Citizen evaluator.
